Thanks @OmarR much appreciated, especially since you're the one who inspired me to go for it. Have always looked at your profile as a model to strive for since I started here on these boards. Just changed my Disco card back to blue in your honor lol. Won't be able to get the Dividend so the Citi CC stands in it's place!

So let me know when we can get our story straight so I can apply and gain entry as your "brother-in-law".

Thanks @Taurus22, I'm still super stoked about this one. We still need to get into PCM, so it's brothers-in-law for sure lol!
Shoot......if I could pull off Vantage and PCM, I'd be done. Just had a convo with someone else about this.
PCM would cover the uncoverable (Insurance, Property Taxes, Walmart, Target, Doctor Bills, etc.) and Vantage would fill gaps for me with Costco, Travel, and Home Improvement. Honestly, at this point I think I would just be happy with Vantage.
Alas, I have a deficit in the miracle department.... ![]()

Congrats! That is a card I'd love to have myself someday!
Congrats @PullingMeSoftly on getting the VW card.
@paulesportthe lowest APR for a CU card is DECU's 0% Visa

@PullingMeSoftly Congratulations!!! Thank you for sharing those data points. I want to help my family member get a card like this to cover their gas and groceries. A card similar to this would be great since they are also members of Costco. Do you know of any other cards that are great for Costco users other than their own products?
@issac2x Thank you for mentioning DECU. I had never heard of them and could possibly join. I don't need the lower $1500 limit on the 0% Visa card, but it's good to know about for others. Are you a member there? If so, do you have any pros and cons you can share?
Yeah way to go @PullingMeSoftly , niiiice pickup!

Finding elevated multipliers for wholesale can be a bit challenging, and particularly for Costco since they only accept Visa. These would be some known options:

Finding elevated multipliers for wholesale can be a bit challenging, and particularly for Costco since they only accept Visa. These would be some known options:
- Any flat-rate 2% card would be the baseline, and that somewhat includes the Citi Costco Anywhere card since that only gives 2% on Costco purchases.
- Alliant CU's Visa Sig at 2.5% (If earning Tier One rewards: Opt in to receive eStatements; and at least one electronic deposit posted to the account each calendar month; and maintain an average daily balance of $1,000 or more)
- AOD CU Visa Sig and US Alliance CU Visa Sig at 3% (AOD's card is no longer avialable for new applications, US Alliance's 3x rate is over at the end of the year, but will continue to be 6% grocery card through 12/31/23)
- US Bank Altitude Reserve at 3% via mobile wallet
- US Bank Shopper Rewards at 3% (when selecting wholesale clubs as a 3% category)
- Safe CU at 5% (selectable wholesale quarter category once a year, geo-restricted to some Northern CA counties)
- Vantage West CU at 5% as you already know from this post (geo-restricted to select AZ counties)
- Aaaand saving the best for last......drum roll.....Affinity FCU Cash Rewards Visa Sig at 2% - 7% for most/all of the year. Supermarkets is a permanent base multiplier at 2% (along with restaurants and gas), and in my own DP's some Costco purchases have been qualifying as supermarket/grocery spend. Add to that, 5% quarter rotating categories which have included supermarket/grocery and wholesale for multiple quarters, which stack with the 2% base for 7%. Again, in my own experience, there appears to be times when some charges qualify as supermakert/grocery and some do not, others may say otherwise.
@PullingMeSoftly Thank you so very much for this thorough answer. Please know it is appreciated. A few of these may definitely work for us! And I'll definitely have to look more into Affinity since they've made changes again this year. I was considering it, but thought they got rid of the rotating categories. Thanks again!
Impressive! That's pretty awesome. CONGRATS!!!!
