Venmo In the bag

Hey, you all. I hope you are doing well. I have been here for quite some time and have just not had the chance to get on and post as much. I am hoping to do more this year.

So, over the weekend, I had some time, and with the new year, I figured I might as well roll the dice.

New card: Venmo, INSTANT approval of 12K
Data points:
Scores across the board 770s, no baddies; why I got the card Use venmo lot, so I figure I may as well have one,
They pulled TU

It will be a nice one to add. I plan to use it as my driver, wait 3-6 billing cycles, and then hit the love button.

I just received an email a couple of days ago for double cash back for six months. Discover offers double for a full year, so perhaps I'll wait and see if Synchrony sweetens the SUB to match.

I am sure you have answered this already. 

Any quick tips you would be willing to share? Is securing those higher limits just being with them for a long time and paying it off each month or something else?
