The Venmo credit card popped up in the app today, figured I could use the 3% utility/bills cash back with $10k cap, so gave it a whirl. Yes, was approved, but with only a $2,700 SL which is probably my worst SL, APR is 21%. I have one other card with Synchrony and its the Amazon card which has a $2800, I'm bucketed in this limit range with them for some reason.
-Lots of new cards this year
-TU pulled, 742 FICO
-Cool looking card
-Online card mangement thru the Venmo app, very user friendly, reminds me of the Apple Card
-Instant card number with expiration date shown in the app
Congratulations on your approval! I know this card only came out earlier this year...perhaps like other SYNC accounts, you'll see good CLI's in the future. Seems like lots of members with the Verizon Visa hit up SYNC this last week for CLI's as they were 4-6 months old and several people were successful. I also know they get rather aggressive with their Lowe's card. Certainly not in stone but hope for the future.
Enjoy that new card...and YES, cool looking for sure.
Congratulations on your Venmo Visa approval!
Congrats on the card!
CONGRATS @trant3 on your Venmo VISA approval!!
Congrats on your approval!
Congratulations on your approval!!
Could be worse. You could have got $300 like so many people with good credit with the paypal 2% mastercard.

@Brian_Earl_Spilner , not to change the topic but, I just received my latest PayPal 2% MasterCard CLI Rejection letter stating -
"The requested amount exceeds the limits set by our credit policy." I requested a $5K CLI and didn't even receive a counter offer. I haven't received a CLI from them since May 2019! ![]()
