Does have anyone know what the minimum credit limit is on a Visa Signature? I just got my nice shiny new Chase Amazon Rewards Signature VISA....with a $2k SL...
It says Signature near the VISA logo, plus it came with a pamphlet explaining all of the signature benefits, so I'd imagine it is ![]()

I just got my new Chase Amazon and noticed it was a visa signature too and my limit is 3.5K. Weather it's an actual signature with the benefits I don't know for sure.

I have always heard of 5k signature status.
+1
But just like wearing white after Labor Day.....the 'old school rules aren't enforced by the threat of gunfire.
The issusing company can decide if they chose to designate a card a siggy or not....
One USAA Visa with a 5k limit is a siggy
Another one issued the same day 5k limit isn't a siggy
Why? Wth knows
Why not one 10k siggy?
Could be the standard card is a 'rate advantage' ...meaning lower %
vs the siggy has a 1pt higher % rate....perhaps?
Same here, I always thought 5K was the starting point...
I got the same chase Amazon visa and it is $500
I got approved for a Chase Amazon last month and when the card came in the mail, it said SIGNATURE under the Visa logo. The catch is, I was only approved for $500!!! I must have stared at it for an HOUR trying to figure out if it was a dummy card, but it also came with the signature pamphlet.
