In 2021, during my Chapter 7 bankruptcy, I burned Wells Fargo (WF) for about $2,700. I had previously tried applying for a credit card with them but was declined. Recently, I noticed they launched a new credit card with perks I was interested in, so I decided to try their pre-approval tool. After a few weeks of consideration, I went for it and was approved! I'm excited to be back with Wells Fargo and look forward to this second chance. I received a decent starting credit line, and while the rate isn't great, I pay my balances in full monthly, so no worries. I also applied for my second Bread card, as I already have their 2% card option. WF pulled from Experian only, and while Bread Financial hasn't pulled anything yet, I expect the hard inquiry will show up within the next few days.
Congratulations on your awesome approval and getting back with Wells!

Congrats
Congratulations on starting your new relationship with Wells Fargo again @Waldemar
And for the Key card approval.
Nice limit from them. And congrats on your Bread approval.
I've been with Wells as my secondary bank awhile and I believe they informed me my Hotels.com card was going to turn into a Key Card at some point. Will have to look into that more but enjoy your new card,
Cheers
Congratulations on your approvals.
That’s Terrific!! Congratulations on your Approvals!!👏🏼🍾🥂
Congratulations on your approvals!
Congratulations @Waldemar on your approvals, and especially on getting back in with Wells with a rock-solid approval after they were included in your BK. That's quite an accomplishment!
You mentioned doing their pre-approval page. Did they give you a pre-approval? I've never had success with that page, although they've given me 3 cards - so the bank seems to like me more than the pre-approval tool does.
Through the WF page, I didn't get any results either. However, I checked for their new "One Key Card" via the Expedia website, where I did get pre-approved then I went for it. https://www.expedia.com/one-key-cards
