WF Autograph CLI from $15K to $20K

I just got off the phone with a Wells Fargo banker who was able to increase my CL from $15K to $20K.

Current FICO Score in their app shows 806 (updated 07/09/2025).

September 2024 SL $10K

January 2025 approved for CLI to $15K

August 2025 approved for CLI to $20K

I use this card a good amount, so YMMV. Previous highest balance before PIF was around $4K (end of 2024).

Now to debate on whether I should apply for the Chase Sapphire Preferred for the 100K bonus points offer.

Nice work. That's pretty quick to double the SL. I havent heard much on WF growth potential here.

Nice work on that CLI bump! Going from $10K to $15K in January and now up to $20K in August shows solid usage and trust from Wells Fargo. That 806 FICO score definitely helps; but it also says a lot that they approved back-to-back increases without any big gaps.

Sounds like you’re using the card well and keeping balances in check before paying in full; the $4K usage before PIF shows you’re actively putting spend through it without maxing out. Great balance of responsible use and growth.

As for the CSP; if you can meet the spend for the 100K bonus and take advantage of the 3x categories; it could be a great addition to your setup. With your score and recent CLI; your odds should be strong.

That's great progress. My fico9 is 838, but spend is a lot less than yours. I've consistently gotten +25% from them on active cash. Iv e been using my wells checking more, maybe that will help next time.
