WHOOP! Navy Federal 91/3 2nd Card APPROVAL - $25,000 SL!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS  myFICO Family!

Today was 91/3 Day for my 1st NFCU CC - cashRewards, SL $1,000.   I decided to call in and see what pre-quals were available, even though the More Rewards AMEX card was my goal.  A very nice Rep informed me that according to their system, this was Day 90 instead of 91.  So, I promptly informed her that according to the online TimeAndDate calculator, today was 91 days since my cashRewards card was approved on Sept. 16th.

She suggested that I might want to wait until some future date to try the pre-qual tool.  Knowing my current TU Fico Score and having full confidence in the TimeAndDate calculator, I asked if we could go ahead and see if I had any pre-quals.  She agreed and entered my info and the response was NO PRE-QUALS AVAILABLE ! 

Didn't see that one coming (BTW, the Pre-Quals tool is sourced from a third-party Vendor)!  So, the Rep suggested that I should make my Pre-Qual request on another day.  Undeterred, I told her that I wanted to go ahead and app for the More Rewards AMEX card.     

BOOM - Instant $25,000 SLI!

Based on past NFCU myFICO posts with DPs, I was expecting a $25,000 SL and I am very happy to finally have a CL in the mid 20s.  I officially started my Rebuild in April 2018 and getting to this point in 20 months, for me, is where the month to month efforts start to really pay off.

DPs -

cashRewards card, SL $1,000 - approximately $950 per month spend, pay 99% of balance BEFORE statement cut.

TU FICO 8 - 730

AoOA - 12.6 years

AAoA - 2.6 years

AoYA - 3 months

Income - $100K+

UTIL - 2%, from TU Report

PIF all other accounts every month with the exception of approximately $1,200 on my AmEx Cash Magnet card (still in 0% Promo interest period)

@Steve891, Thanks, I finally received one of the MONSTER SLs!!!

I just paid my Annual fee for OpenSky so, I have another 11 months to go.  On the PLUS side, I have a 4 year + Excellent payment record with them and all of my other CCs are less than 2 years old.
