I OFFICIALLY hate Chase, but not for the reason some might think of. I hate them because THEY KEEP APPROVING ME for creditcards! It all began with CSP. I've applied for Amex BCP, but was denied...I was expecting that to scare me away from applying anymore....SIKE!!! I ran back to Chase and applied for United Mileage Plus Explorer (APPROVED) and as a few weeks went by I decided well Amex hates me so I got tempted again and applied for Marriott Rewards (APPROVED) and well a few days went by and i started thinking how Marriott and Ritz differ and then thought, hell...probably wouldn't get approved anyway so i applied for it and of course...approved. It all just seems too good/easy to be true 
Well, Welcome to the Forums and Congrats on the success with Chase! Love-hate relationships can be a bit tricky. I am curious besides the one denial have you applied for any other Amex product? Maybe their just playing hard to get with you? 
what limits did you get for CSP? also, did Chase pull you each time from more than one CB? is it TU and Experian?
what did Amex pull? just curious..

I would stop apping with them for at least a year or you might start getting closed out by them
