I think I only read about one person that got unsecured at 5 months. I waited until my 7th statement to ask for unsecure. My DW auto-unsecure after 9th statement. Now the battle to remove the AF.

Ok I guess I will give BOA more time then. In that case should I still apply for it? I have enough rewards card now I'd say. BOA cash rewards, Discover IT an now Freedom. I can't say I need a BT card either but as I always try an PIF. More or less to have a extra chase card. I really want the CSP but its way out of my league at the moment. What are you guys opinions?

Kinda high now..37% Its my AU that are high at the moment..My personal are kinda low.Maybe they looked at that and saw they werent my personal accounts.I also have alot of HP's right now mainly on my EX 13 this year.Denials from Discover,Citi,AMEX.  Approvals from Barklays 1000,Capitol one Quicksilver 1000,Chase freedom 3500,Fuel rewards Nework 3000, WINGS FINACIAL CREDIT UNION 2000 ,WALMART CARD 600,SHELL GAS CARD 600, TEXACO/CHEVRON 600

So I call the recon office an the CR informed me I was declined for the slate. Not really concerned as I always PIF. He told me that is has nothing to do with my credit... But more or less asking for to many account in a short period of time.... Anyone else have this experience with Chase? Can anyone shed some more light on this for me please.

I just called and asked chase to consolidate the Freedom and the slate, was approved for 3500 12/17/14 for the Freedom and 12/19/14 for the 3500 Slate. They said no problem took 3 min closed the slate 7000 CLI !

Update.  Today I received a letter from chase in regards to the slate app. I was approved for the freedom as you all know, but this is what chase said for the slate.

"Too many request for credit or opened accounts with us".
