Walmart Auto Increase

Was scrolling through emails and came across this today

PhotoGrid_1604556836587.jpg

Didn't ask for it. I've had it for 1 year, 1 month. Starting limit was $300. I've spent maybe $500 on it, ever. They still won't give me an increase on my other cards. Anyone else get an auto increase? Have a feeling it's because they just launched their black friday event today.

ETA: also want to note that they mention credit building, so this card is probably bucketed.

Congratulations on your auto increase!

I've put a good amount of spend on my Capital One Walmart and nothing.  Maybe their Black Friday magic fell on my accountSmiley Happy.

Re: Walmart Auto Increase

Congrats. The auto cli is likely based on usage in the past 6 months. Eg, my walmart mc auto cli to $1800 from $300 last month and since the time I had it I have been spending on it, paying it down to less than 8% if possible (but I do keep it below 30% whenever possible), let the statement close then PIF (except back in march where I had to carry the balance for that month but paid it off in full afterwards). If youre not spending much on it they might not be willingly to give a good increase, though there are other factors.

It's better than nothing I suppose. (that's usually my approach to Cap One)   Congrats on the increase.
