What makes it so hard to get a Sam's Club store card vs a Walmart card, which can be used in both places?

I got declined for a Sam's Club card in May but I got a Walmart card with a $700 SL in August.

Get 3 to 4 statements under you on the walmart, try to get limit increase and try sams again, if inquries are low. You should get a small auto increase on Walmart by then anyway.
