Walmart Discover Approved!

Just got approved for the Sallie Mae yesterday so to the heck with my AAOA....haha

Decided to apply for the Walmart Discover card for the TU FICO score and got an instant approval of $2k! 

I'll probably purchase a pack of gum every 6 months on this card.

What was your scores when you applied? I'm trying to decide if I want to risk the HP or not.

My CK score was 756 when I applied for the Sallie Mae card yesterday. I don't know my FICO scores.

I don't think the Sallie Mae card has reported so my CK score should still be around 750. AAOA was 8 months yesterday. Income is 10k. 

An inquiry only matters if something major is going to occur in the next 1-2 years. Well, thats my take on it. Good luck if you do apply.

I wish I could, but the nearest Walmart is 2 hours away. 

My other cards offer better rewards than the Walmart card too.

Well since you got the Discover version you don't have to use it exclusively at Walmart. But I definitely understand the better rewards. Mine is the store card but after about $100 use each month for two months I got an auto cli.
