I just applied for the Walmart MC and was approved for $2,000 at 23%apr(which doesn't matter because I pay in full). I'm just happy I finally got this card because I shop at walmart for groceries and spend anywhere between $250-$300/month on grocery pickup. Which bring me to a question. After the first year couldn't one just buy Walmart gift cards online from walmart.com with the credit card and use those in store to still get 5% that way? That's what I was thinking of doing when the first year is up.

You still get 5% if you order it online to pickup or deliver to your home. Walmart Grocery online also comes in at 5% for pickup at your local store post 1 year.
Yes it does and I use grocery pickup 99% of the time! But for those who didn't know post first year all they have to do is buy Walmart gift cards on walmart.com and you can go in store for 5%. Solves that little problem of people complaining that it doesn't give 5% in store after the first year.
This card is the reason why I even tried grocery pickup and now I'm addicted to it. I rarely go inside now.
