Venmo debit set to Walmart bundle. DD of $500 makes it 5% cb $2k month cap. Better deal IMO
Yeah, there is no way I'd ever DD into Venmo or PayPay. Much safer taking my chances with a Synch 5% OnePay card.

Walmart did over $713 billion in revenue last year. That's up from the previous year and just barely behind Amazon, despite AWS revenue. Their market share is growing faster than Amazon's, too. I think they are doing just fine and don't need to cater to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Or you could look at it like, Why can't a company with $713 billion in revenue allow for both methods of wallet payment? Their own and Google/Apple pay. You can't use the Walmart app pay at any other store other than their own.
While Google/Apple pay are widely accepted. It's about customer convenience.

Congratulations on your new card, just use the card and wate about 6 to 9 months then apply for the Onepay mc.
Synchrony is very weird, I just burnt them in Ch.7 - 2 PayPal cards for ~$8k - not even a week discharged... and I had a preapproval for Cash Rewards MC... I pulled the trigger and was approved for $3k... I am so confused, I do put a ton of spend thru Walmart+ it's replaced Amazon prime for me...but I didn't expect to get back in with synchrony so quick...
