Way around Chase 5/24 if you are at 4/24

So recently I decided to go for an app spree (though initially that was not the case) with Chase. I was at 4/24 and wanted the CSP, Freedom and Freedom Unlimited to create the perfect trifecta (without any business card though). My scores are 720ish, history 1-1.5 years. Highest limit Amex SPG, BCP of 5k each.

First applied for a Freedom at 7 30am - 7 -10 day message, called at 8 30, 10 min call and was approved for a very genrous limit. Was very happy! (now at 5/24)

Decided to do a little more and applied for a freedom Unlimited two days later, on  a weekend, again got a 7-10 day message, called and unfortunately the card went into a SSN verification, so will have to fax over a copy to verify. App is pending for 30 days and will be decided upon after receival.

5 days later decided that I would give a shot at the CSP as the Freedom has not started reporting and might have a shot. Got an invite from a friend, applied through that, got the "call immediately" message. 3 mins later was approved for an even bigger line than the freedom. Smiley Very Happy

*Happy Dance*

Now just need to complete the verification and hopefully get approved for all 3.

Point of the post that if someone is stuck at 4/24 and wants chase, do not hesitate to apply for all of them with a few days spaced out.

Thank you to everyone on this forum who guided me about the specifics of not reporting and encouragement!

P.S. Now in gardening till I can score a prequalified or a regular 100k Amex Plat!

You are not at 5/24 until 5 recent cards are reporting. Chase took about a month to show up on my reports, which is why i was able to get Freedom Unlimited as 6/24 a week after CSP.

Agreed. Took your advise as you had suggested in a previous post. Just wanted it out there for other people like me who are hesitant about diving with Chase.

I got Chase Freedom as my 7/24 after the Freedom Unlimited (4/24) and two more cards in between... all within 2-3 weeks. You might be pushing your luck if you are applying for 3 Chase cards though. Good luck!

Interesting data. I think they may not be an option for me under that rule.

Congrats.. But you might want to be careful doing these sorts of things with Chase. One forum member had his accounts reviewed for similar over 5/24 approvals. Hopefully you're okay and they won't look any further.

If you want to play it safe, I probably wouldn't call and keep a low profile. No need to rock the boat..

He/she should be OKAY if they don't call Chase for anything. Creditplz called to inquire about something and that's how he got caught up.
