Okay, so I swore, swore, swore that after my December/January mini-app spree that resulted in PNC Core, Comenity Ulta MC, and Discover It credit cards that I was going back to the garden. I'm about six months away from hopefully applying for a mortgage, so I decided that 3 hard pulls was the limit. Well, I saw commercials for Wayfair sales today and I've been needing new bedding, so I checked out the website and fell in love with several bedsets. Sticking with my commitment to only charge what I can pay off right away, I only chose one (and saved the rest for future reference), and lo and behold, the pre-approval pop-up appeared. I knew that commenity already had a recent pull from the Ulta card so I knew exactly what info they were working with (670+ Eq), and I learned from these boards that SCT pop-ups are typically soft pulls in any case, so what the hell. I went for it, got an instant approval, $3,500 SL.
With my move planned, and other family members planning moves this year, this card will definitely come in handy. Massive interest rate at 27% though, so once again, I'll be sure to pay in full every time. And I know Comenity can be skittish when it comes to multiple cards, so that means I am well and truly done with two store cards. Now I'm REALLY going back to garden!

Congrats on the approval. That's a great SCL.
Congrats!!!
Op,
What was you score like when you apped for PNC? Any data points?

I got an offer pop up on my PNC banking account informing me about PNC Core's 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers. I applied (hard pull) and was approved with a 665 Experian score. 80%+ utilization on the two active cards I had at the time. Perfect payment history on my current PNC auto loan. Baddies were late payments from about 4 years ago. I just about fell off my chair when I saw my approved SL. PNC definitely took a chance on me, so it was a good kick start to my mini app spree. I definitely took advantage of that balance transfer APR to get my overall utilization down.
