Weird $14,000 Credit Line Increase

I've been hanging on to a $1,000 Chase Amazon card for no good reason. The CL was low because I moved about $10k to another Chase card 5 years ago. I haven't used the Chase Amazon card in probably 3 years! Then yesterday, I received a notification that they increased the CL to $15,000. Ummm...what??? 

My oldest card (30 years) is a Mileage PlusChase card that I only keep open for the age factor, and I just got a new Chase IHG card in February that receives the bulk of our $2 - 5,000 monthly spend. 

So what gives? I'm planning on calling tomorrow to close that card and move the CL to the IHG card, but in the meantime...so weird...

Congratulations!!!  ... Chase has been giving out a lot of Auto-CLI's on The Amazon card lately.

That's a massive increase! We've seen quite members receiving these auto CLIs the last couple of months, glad you got a nice one.
