So tonight I was at kohl's and they were doing the get 30% off if you used their card. I figured what the heck... We shop there from time to time and I see the sales all the time if you use your car. I dont plan on carrying a ballance so the APR is nothing for me...
So I forgot that Kohl's used Capital One. A little over a year ago life happend and I filed BK7 and Capital one was one of the people I burned :-( A few months ago I applied for a Cap1 card and the declined me because of the account.
So back to tonight. I am filling out the app with the guy at the register and he has to call in to a number, they transfer him and then they say, we are going to call the customer later. I did place a Fraud alert for some addresses that are not mine and thats likley what they need to talk to me about. If they are going to go through all that trouble do you think they might be approving me? OR am I going to go through all this toruble for nothing?
FYI I did call the credit department when I got home and they confirmed that I should be getting a call in the next 24 hours.
I am not as worried score wise more of the fact that Cap1 turned me down a few months back and the fact that the BK7 burned them :-s
Hopefully when they call I can break away to answer the phone... Wish there was a way to schedule the call :-)

Got a call today asked my last 4, DOB address said I was approved for $400 :-)
Small limit but I think that is big enough for them...
Haha, did that once, I am fine now... No need to shop till i drop again...
