Yesterday, my wife requested a CLI on her Chase Disney Mastercard that she's had about 10 years. She was frustrated with the small 1400.00 cli given. I convinced her to prequalify for an American Express as it wouldn't be a hard pull to see if she would be approved. She hasn't opened any new cards in several years. She opted to try for the Blue Cash Everyday card as she doesn't like annual fee cards. She submitted her application and they came back with an approval and $10,000 starting limit. I told her that's a pretty nice sl for AmEx and with regular use and pay in fulls, that can grow to probably $25,000 in 3 months. We have a combined income of $100k/yearly and she has a 785 FICO. That helped her approval I'm sure.
Tell her congratulations! That is a good sl. Amex is known to allow cli after 91 days. They re also known for going 3X. Last month they went from $9000 to $27000 on my bce. The account was just 12 months old.
Congrats to your wife on her new card! Amex does give up to 3x CLIs but will give far less if you've reached as far as they want to go. My last CLI request on my ED card only took me from $1300 to $2500, but I do have almost 60k in total CL with them across 4 cards.
Sweet AMX SL!!
Oh yes. I know they will give 3x cli's. I've heard though once you hit $25,000 limit on one card, anything over that usually triggers an income verification request. Not wanting the extra hassle.
Congratulations on DW's Amex approval!
Congrats
Congratulations!!
Nice SL and approval, congratulations!
