Williams Sonoma Visa Approval

Used the SCT as it said i was pre-approved for the VISA not the store card.  It asked for the full SSN and got approved for $1k, no HP.  I will not do a CLI online as i read it might be a HP..i'm good Smiley Happy

Today marks the last day i had to apply.  My journey ends here after 8 days of applications.

In total since May 8th:

Sports Man Guide Visa - CL unknown

Williams Sonoma Visa - $1k

Navy Fed More Rewards - $15k

Citi DC - $7.9k (burned them in Ch7)

AMEX EDP - $1.3k

See you all on the other side on 6/1/2020

Re: Williams Sonoma Visa Approval

That's a pretty good haul! I would definitely keep an eye on both of the Comenity recent approvals for the next 30-60 days.

While I doubt anything would happen, because with Comenity you never know, they're definitely skittish with back-to-back bankcard approvals.

Not to make you nervous, but just keep vigilant. Typically, after 60 days you should be good.

Re: Williams Sonoma Visa Approval

You may want to double check tomorrow.  I was approved for that card 5mos ago, SCT, $1k no HP on the day I applied, but the next day...don't intend to rain on your parade.  I hope you don't get a HP.

Re: Williams Sonoma Visa Approval

Now you can't go buying no Vitamix blender for $530 or your util will be 50%.

By the way, I have a $530 Vitamix blender from there but our Williams-Sonoma went out of business.  I had just gotten my CSP when the cashier asked me if I wanted to apply for the WS card.  I think it was backed by Barclays at the time (before Comenity took over).  No way I wanted to go anywhere near another Barclays credit card.

Yeah, i'm happy to report that they did add a HP...why get upset lol.

Anyways, my application spree ran out yesterday so no more inquiries will be coming in.  This leaves me with 2 total commenity cards, not bad.  No HP on sports man quide so far.

Re: Williams Sonoma Visa Approval

Congratulations on the approval! I received the card fairly quick and it also got reported to EX within 5 - 7 days post approval. Started using the card already and so far so good. I like the fact that when you pay a posted balance, it readily gets added on to your available CL, just like AMEX. Only thing I did not like is that unless a transaction gets posted, you don't really get to see the pending transactions you made in real time. And when you run multiple transactions within a given day, sometimes it takes a while for their system to get caught up and in some cases it gets a bit confusing.

Thansk for heads up! We'll see how long it takes for my card to arrive.

Re: Williams Sonoma Visa Approval

That doesn't sound to me how credit reporting works.  Every lender has its own subscription and APIs with the bureaus.  They all report differently.  I hope they never go to real-time reporting.  I just bought my wife a nice ring on AMEX and will pay it off in two weeks before my statement cuts and it reports to the bureaus.  Do you know that would do to my credit score if it were reported immediately?  Yikes!  But, seriously folks I've seen Comenity not report my payoff for 60 days before - very frustrating.  I even called and asked for a push - no such luck.
