So I was approved for a Journey on 2/19/14 with a $500 limit. Last week I was able to PC it to a VentureOne card. They gave me 5k goodwill miles since I couldnt get the signup bonus. I asked for a limit increase cause I can't really do anything with a $500 travel card. They denied me since my account was so new. Today I looked at my account and it was increased to 1k! $500 increase! I have horrible credit. So the fact I got all this done in a month is a success story to me!! Thanks to this board of course!

What do you mean your credit is horrible? Do you mean as in deliquences and high banlances?

Yeah I would think so. I have a few unpaid collections and CO from a few years ago. I recently started rebuilding my credit like 9 months ago. Started with First Premier then got secured Capital One a few months after. My utl is around 40%.
