Year and a half later...Finally a PenFed CLI and an Approval!

Opened my Penfed Cash Rewards card in March 2018 with a SL of $1000. Have tried a couple times to get an increase with no success. Going to be doing some larger spending and travel coming up so wanted to add a couple cards. Applied for the Penfed Pathfinder first and got an instant approval for $10000. No HP so decided to try for a CLI on my Cash Rewards and got an instant approval for $10000 on that as well up from the initial $1000.  Guess it takes a lot longer for Penfed to trust you than NFCU! Going try to re-add a 3rd Navy card next as I combined two a couple months ago.

Congrats on the CLI.  For a CU PenFed sure is a lot like a bank, Barclay or BofA IMO.  I have never seen anything like it, and I agree Navy and even NASA is way better about limits, CU are supposed to be better about these things, but PenFed has different set of rules...
