I've been eyeing this card for a while, and having 3% back on phone service and travel will be nice.
I was only accepted for $1,000, which is lower than I was expecting. I'm paying this card in full each month, so I'm not too disappointed. I believe I can transfer some of the $5,700 credit line from my Active Cash to the Autograph if I need to pay more for a travel expense. I'm also expecting to grow this card over the next 6 months. (My previous approval was for $7K for a Discover card in May, and WF gave me a $1,200 CLI on Active Cash just over a week ago.)
Knowing that I'm eligible for the SUB despite getting the Active Cash last year sealed the deal for me. Even with the low SL, I'm stoked to get the card for the SUB and the cash back. It's too low a SL to carry a balance, but I wasn't attracted to the 0% offer anyway.
They pulled Experian, FICO 8 was 698 before the HP, now it's 692.
7/24, 6/12 and 3/6 for inquiries before HP
Chase 5/24 status: 8/24, 4/12 and 1/6 before new account
I'll be gardening until at least January (another 6 months) when WF is expected to unveil a new travel card. For what it's worth, at that point my Chase 5/24 status will be 6/24, 2/12 and 0/6 if I stay in the garden. This time I believe I'll hold off on requesitng a CLI from Wells Fargo before applying for a new card with them. (I wasn't originally planning on applying for Autograph and wouldn't have requested a CLI if I had.)
(Updated with additional details in the last paragraph.)
Congrats on the approval!
Congratulations on your Wells Fargo Autograph Card approval!
I stressed long and hard to toss in a INQ for an entry with WF for this card but stopped short.
Appreciate your sharing the experience and heads up about the Travel Card down the line.
Congratulations, If you don't mind what was your stated income on the application. It looks like Wells fargo is not giving out large credit limits on this card.
Congrats on your Wells Fargo Autograph approval

Thank you! I applied with stated income of $53,000. I considered including my partner's income because we pool money, but I decided not to do that at this time.
The $1k SL was surprising given that they gave me a $1,200 CLI on my Active Cash card just 11 days earlier, but perhaps that's one reason why they gave me a low SL. This is the lowest SL I've received in more than a year, and my last one was for $7K.
CONGRATS!!!!!
Congratulations
Congratulations on your Wells Fargo Autograph approval! It looks like this card has quickly become FOTM.
