new amex app help

Hello,

 

I would like to app for a AMEX BCE and wanted to know how my chances look.

 

i have a freedom card  $1500CL   / $50 Balance     / no lates open late 2012

 

2 AU on   1. AMEX  $15k CL / 5% util / open since 2007

                2. Chase  $15k CL / 30% util / open since 2013

 

no inq / CK low/mid 700 / 

 


How do I look ?   Also if I apply for two amex same day will there be only one pull ?

You have a very good chance of getting a BCE, I got mine a month ago or so, and YES you can apply for two Amex cards and is just one HP, that is what I did, I applied for two accts the BCE and Amex Gold and got approved for both

get the charge card first.

then try for the BCE.

I think you have a fairly good chance at getting the BCE. I would definitely recommend going for the charge card first and then the BCE. That way if you are denied for the BCE it is only a soft pull instead of another hard pull. 

 

I was able to get my BCE with only 6 month credit history and a 720 EX score. So that alone should show you that it is not the hardest card to get.

decided to pull the trigger for only the BCE. It was approved but for a low limit of $2500. Hopefull it comes backdated to when i was added as an AU. Next step is to wait for the 3xcli .. thanks for the help...

Congrats on your approval!  Why didn't you go for the charge card as well for the high chance of 2cards for 1HP?
