Hi everybody !

Some of you might remember the times where I was complaining about my Discover IT card at 2,5K ?  Kept trying for many months with no success..that 2,5K would simpy not move. Then at 15 months all the sudden my CLI request was accepeted and new CL was 5K. 3 months later I could not resist in playing with the luv botton again and bam... another success to 7,5K.  My plan was to hit the button 1 more time at my 2 years anniversary but today I could not resist in filling in the form and hit that luv button again ... goal reached 10K accepted.  Just got a love Discover ! All SP CLIs.  A mistery to me to why all the suddend this fast moving forward while it was such a nightmare to get over the 2,5K  ...lol... So from now on no need to touch luv buttons anymore and I will be working on APR reductions except on  Chase cards

Congrats! I just did a 3x CLI on my AMEX BCE 30 minutes ago and got it...now you have me thinking to hit the luv button on my Discover It.....Is the luv button on the Discover It card always a SP? I have had my Discover IT for a little over 8 months and haven't hit the luv button.

My Discover is also stuck at $2.5k.  :-(  Congrats on the nice increases!

Congrats on your 3 x CLI with Amex.  Discover luv button is not always but it will clearly ask for permission to continue if it requires a HP. Each time I tried and when it asked permission to pull my credit I cancelled my request. If you do this just be prepared that the luv botton will be kind of disabled for about 3 months (CLI in progress). But it will come back and you can repeat until successful. While the luv button was kind of blocked I tried the automated phone line but with same results..when it asked to transfer to a rep I did hang up. My 3 successful CLIs on Discover were all with the luv button and I always put on 2,5K as increase amount and it worked.  Good luck!
