ollo card approval

So i havent posted in a good while now. Mainly because things were kind of stagnat. I had applied to american express and was denied, and tried to recon and was denied again, but didnt get a second hp. Boy was i happy about that. 
so i waited about 2 months and researched, and then all of a sudden i got a preapproval for the ollo card from ck. I researched it for 2 days and debated , did i want subprime card ? Well since i have open sky, and my discover graduated to chrome it and my fingerhut went from 1300 to 2200 cl and my mont wards went from 100 to 700 cl i decide i needed to get one more to stabalize  my credit . So i decided to to pull the trigger..

LOL now when i pull the trigger through ck i got a message back that their system was down. so i didnt get a decision. I was like what the hell?? 

so i decided to call ollo to see what the decision was, of course the app department was gone for the day. they said call back later. I just decided they was was declined. I went on about my night and this morning i got a message from ollo that i was approved and welcome message.

i was happy!  but they didnt give me a limit, only thing they said was i would receive my card  in 7-10 days. I guess im going to have to call them and find out. 

But from what i have read here they give great credit limits. So i have to see. God i hope it aint a 300 dollar limit.

Im late to the party, but Congrats on your approval! Ollo is definitely different from the other subprime lenders, i just cant see them giving you a 300 cl, but YMMV

Hello my my fico family. Hope all had a great holiday and ready for a very they new pumping year. Im excited about this new year. I see great things happening . Well im reporting back on the cl for the new ollo card.  I had to wait, i called them that night and they were like you going to have to give it 48 hour, well that was cool but i never got around to calling back, was just too busy with other things. I was just happy i got approved.

so i guess around 5 days gone by and finally the card came in the mail, wasnt as fancy as my discover card but it was nice. and i open the paper to the card attachment and it was a WHOPPING........900 dollar. lolol. Wasnt as much as i wanted, but it was still cool. 

at least it wasnt a 300 or 500 cl. i would have cried. 

So its been about a month now and i used it for a few little things adding up to a total of 50 dollar. This isnt my discover card with some cash back and things, so im about to put a bill on it like my trash pick up and pay that every month. That should keep her steaming and wait for the 5th month to see what kind of cl i get from that. 

As far as the credit report, well thats gone up and down here and there. but staying around the early  to middle 600s. Im tired of the 600s. But now that ( they who should not be named on this site) has been doing a great job. I have to give them credit for that, they have even got my bk deleted from my tu file. so im waiting to see how that effects my score, along with the points i lost for the new inquiry, really wasnt that bad and the aaoa dropping. we will see. 

Also they have gotten about 5 things deleted from  my tu and eq accounts. ck got me at 676 and 654 . but the real deal fico scores are like 

eq 627 and tu 621 and my exp went down from 651 to 646 due to the new card.

I assumed if they got the bk to be deleted from tu, the other two will follow in time. I hope. 

My goal is to get that american express anything. I figure i got about 40 more points before i can really get that. 

but i can see im on my way. anyway its late and im tired. but just want to get a little bit of a update on things.

Grats on your Ollo card. I've heard some interesting things about this card for sure. Isn't it true you're unable to obtain the card unless you're specifically targeted for it (via online or physical mail)?

hello, yes that is true. but i got my preapproval from ck. which kind of shocked me cause i thought it was by mail only. 

ck had it in my line up of cards and above it said.90 percent  preapproved so u will more than likely get this card. so i just hit the button 

through ck and i was approved.
