Hi EddieHaskell, yes, this gives me great hope! I had a decline with AMEX in May, 2014, but they wrote me a letter and said that I should wait for a year to build a stronger history and then they would like for me to reapply. This alone was very encouraging!
Congratulations to her!
Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!
congrats!

She was trying for one the past 15 years. She's been approved by all the other big ones, boa, chase, disc, citi etc but Amex just wouldn't budge year after year. Well, we forgot to check the mail the past couple days so it was sitting in the box this morning before we left for work. She was super excited since on her app they said further time was needed before a decision so it was a surprise.
She normally doesn't like annual fees but its a gold card so she plans to keep it build up with them and then get a no fee card later with them. I told her start out slow and charge small stuff and go from there. I know its only a charge card but it started her day off right. We just used it and met for lunch at local Mexican rest. It's def worth the after lunch heartburn that burrito will give me.
Congratulations!...Thanks For Sharing.![]()
