So last night I tried logging onto my Citi Card account to check out my Citi Thank You Prefferred Signature Visa and couldn't sign on... I tried two more times and then was locked out. I got an error message telling me to call the number on the back of the card to verify my info. I was pretty irritated by that but called anyway the next day. When I called the Rep apologized and fixed the error. After it was all said and done she ended the conversation with "Sorry again for your troubles, we will be giving you a 1,000 free TY points for your time" and then continued on from there. Is this common from Citi to do this or did I just get a kick ass rep? Anyhow I'm pretty happy with how it all went and with their CS.
Nice!
I might have to lock myself out to find out. You know, as a scientific study, of course. ![]()
Haha I joked to my GF about that, told her I was going to "accidently" lock myself out every couple of months. ![]()
Nice, don't spend that $8.00 all in one place.

Gee...and I thought it was a whole $10...lol.
Yes, they give small amounts of points out frequently. But that's not too bad. They messed up my order, sending Home Depot gift cards rather than Walmart. I had to send them back and when I asked about postage, they gave me 1000 TY. Postage was only about $5 so it more than covered it, but not much for the inconvenience for their mistake. And they say it will take 20 biz days to credit back the points...
1000 sounds like a lot. But it's nothing
