2 Amex Costco Cards On 1 Costco Membership?

My Mom and I share a costco account, so we only pay one membership.  Currently she has the costco TE card.   Would i be able to get a separate True Earnings card on with the same membership and no annual fee?  Or would i need to open a separate costco membership.   I don't want my credit card to be connected to my Mom's in any way.

you should be able to get your own amex. If you look at your costco card, you have a different membership id# then your mom. That is the number they use for you CC, it isnt tracked back to your moms card #. 

I know this because i just did it a few weeks ago without a problem. Heres the funny thing. The amex will be under your name and have your name on it. On the back, it will have your picture from your costco card....but have your mothers name next to the picture. lol.

Thanks!   I passed by a costco and and they were able to verify the same thing.  I can get my own Amex TE card, completely independent of my mom's, without having to get an addtional membership.   One thing i forgot to ask was which card would the costco membership fee be charged too?  I didn't end up applying yet.  Still need some time to make up my mind, and I had just picked up the BCE.  Thanks again!
