2 day message with Discover CLI request.

I put in a CLI request for DM, she got a CLI last month 1.5k, but reported fico was 690, has since shot up to 815 (this month) put in for a CLI and got this message:

Your request is under review.
Decisions are typically made within 2 business days. There's nothing else you need to do at this time.

what does this usually yeild?

It's difficult to say. Discover has been all over the map lately. I received the 2 day message and got excited. It's been 7 days with no response. Chatted with Discover and was told CLI was not approved and that they would send an electonic communication eventually. Nothing at all and it's been 7 days.

It could be a good thing, so don't give up hope. People have had it go both ways with the 2 day message.

It usually yields a good CLI.

In my case it yielded a lousy $300 CLI.

I got that message on all 3 of my  approved requests. I started wondering if it was because I was requesting on the weekend or a holiday. I've been reading on the boards about people not getting approved of late with the same message recently so now, i'm thinking  you might just have to wait it out or keep checking the website. For my CLI I usually noticed the limit change before I got a notice and it never took the two full days.

I actually just asked for a CLI online about 4 hours ago for the hell of it. I figured why not at least try. I just paid down my More's balance from about $9800 down to about $1800 in the last 2 weeks. My last CLI from Disco was about a month ago. And before that it had been I'm guessing maybe a year ago?

With having paid off so much debt on my card seemed like a good time to ask.

I to got the 2 day message also. Freaked me out when I saw it as I was expecting either a yes or no from em.

I got this message a few times and nothing changed for me 

My DW got it once and in 2-3 days she got a $5000 increase!!

I got the two day message today, too. lol Wonder if anyone had an instant approval?

I too just recently received the 2 day message from discover FOR THE VERY 1st TIME, normally I receive instant approvals

2 days later received my lowest CLI to date.....a mere $1,500

so good luck, hopefully you will receive good news!

I got the 2 day notice and it yieled a $1500 increase, and I had just a $500 increase a few weeks ago.  It was a SP so wasn't too shabby.

I had the exact oposite.. I CLI'd via their luv button, and got instant approval for 6k increase. I had my wife do the same, just to see what would happen, and she got 2k.

I've never gotten a 2 day message from Disc... *shrug*
