How often i Discover giving limits? I got one with a SP about 2 months ago, I wonder if they'll give me another one today? Last time they gave me $5k increase and I would like another $5k please
I don't see why they shouldn't. I've been with them for over 10 years with not a single late payment and Checking/Savings account with a good chunk of change.
If I remember correctly, Disc doesn't live giving them out less than every 6 months or so. I know cap1 was the same way for me, a few years back.
I've had good luck getting a CLI every 55 days for the past 5 times. 2 day message could be bad or good, I think it means real humans are reviewing your account and request. Instant is the best, means you were due for a CLI and just have to ask.
@willwar14 wrote:what does this usually yeild?
"Usually" doesn't matter. "X days" does not indicate anything regarding outcome. Outcome depends on the specific findings. For me it led to a $6K CLI a day ago but that doesn't mean that it will for you. It all depends on your credit profile, income and whatever they need to manually review.

How often any creditor will consider CLI requests and what you qualify for are two entirely different things. We can't tell you the latter. I think it was about 2 months since my last CLI request.

I have with at least one prior CLI request.

Nope. You can delete the content of your post but only a mod can delete the post itself.
I got shot down 3 times using the luv button, most recently 2 weeks ago. And then out of nowhere today, they throw me 1800$ increase. I dont understand how at all, since at the time i asked for using luv button,my uti for discover at 75% and now its at 90%,i hope they dont take it back. Fico score 686
I've gotten the under review message, logged out, then back in to see the new limit a couple of minutes later.
I've gotten the under review message two other times then received the CLI about 5 days later
I've gotten the under review message 4-5 other times and received the denial citing, "Not enough experience at current limit"
Note: These "under review" messages were usually given when I requested CLIs a couple weeks or month from my last approved increase. Not allowing the full 91 days. They seemingly want to deny for requesting another CLI prematurely, but lots of money/payments is being pushed through the card monthly so they reconsider their 91 day policy(hence under review). In some cases, they're willing to give it to you sooner(since the gravy train ended). Just my guess.
I've been about 50/50 between denials and approvals with the 2 day message.

Since May of last year I, and many others, have been getting CLI's in much less than six month increments. Personally, I got five in a row at 17 days each and since then they've varied between 31 days and 91 days.
