im reading this as spend $100 minimum and get $20 bucks back. Here's the fine print.
what is it in reality?
No. The fine print states $100 is the spend needed to trigger the offer, then any net spend *after* that is applied. As I mentioned earlier, if you spend $300 during the offer term, you can reach the $20 reward (100 needed to trigger it, 200 to meet the 20% giving $20), with a net actual reward worth 6.67% rather than 20%, since that 20% only applies to to portion after the frist 100 spent.
ETA: They word it so awkwardly to confuse consumers to think they only need to spend the "trigger" amount to get rewarded. As a poster mentioned earlier, at least the 100 trigger amount is way better than a 1000 amount they often list.
Really, it isn't! As it states in the fine print you get a bonus 0.2% per $ spent. (This is what also avoids the enhanced rewards, so on a cash plus, you would get 5.2% on a category, rather than the 6% you might expect)
This is indeed 20% of the usual 1%, but it's not 20% of purchase price. If you spend the subsequent $200, you will earn $2.40, 1.2 points per dollar.

Oh carp, you are so right - my eyeballs couldn't see that point too well! OP, this is a horrible and very deceptive offer. DO NOT TAKE!

Well, if you are able to enroll absolutely painlessly, may as well and maybe gain 60c! But not worth any calling etc....
At US Bank, "20% more" is not 20%
. They keep sending these offers regularly.
My offer requires $1.050 of spend.
I frequently receive these terrible offers from US Bank. Currently, I have the "20% more points" after spending $2300 on my Altitude Reserve or after $800 on my Cash+. Thanks, but no thanks.

@NoMoreE46Seems like an oddly specific number ![]()

Thanks, I think your exactly correct.
I still don't understand it (probably need to read more carefully, brain is shot rn) which means it's deliberately complicated and therefore (if I even had the promo code) useless. I'm gonna forget about it.

I remember getting one of those years ago. I didn't bother. 🙃
