3 days late on amazon store card

My question is this. I'm currently 3 days late on my Amazon store card(from it's actual due date).  This is an honest mistake(i gotta get a dry erase board or something ).  I will pay tomorrow, IS THIS REALLY GONNA AFFECT MY FICO SCORE THAT MUCH? by the way this is my first late payment in over 8 months.

3 days late won't hurt your score.  It has to be 30 days late for it to be reported to the bureau.

You can however face a late fee and/or penalty APR.

+1 ... If you had a 0% promo APR for a large purchase, you could now be hit with the default rate which is likely 20% or higher.

I would also suggest calling Amazon to let them know the payment will be forthcoming--they may not penalize you if you call them and explain. Doing nothing will almost definitely result in a late fee or penalty APR.

Thanks for the advice guys! feel a little better now...i hate being late on anything now. I'm now 30 years old and want a 700 score by the time im 32! I think this is a realistic goal as i currently sit at 610. CHEERS!

Yeah it does have good rewards for those who like going to the casinos!  I only go about one every other year so it adds up when i do get there!  I had to recon to get it but i simply told the lady on the phone, that i go every other year and just want it to accumulate the points & BAM! instant approval. no joke, that easy...i must have got the right person on the right day!

Even if just for the minimum, it will ensure that this doesn't happen.
