5/24 rule question

I guess this question applies to all lenders with a rule regarding x accounts within y months.

Do AU accounts factor in?

Thanks.

Re: 5/24 rule question

For Chase, absolutely. There have been some reports of successful reconsideration calls if 1 single AU account causes you to be AT 5/24.

Re: 5/24 rule question

Yes. All revolving accounts do. Some people were able to recon denial based on single au account, but I would not count on it

Re: 5/24 rule question

Let's say that husband and wife open separate accounts, each using the 5/24 up on different Chase cards.  Could you add one another as AU a few months after 5/24 apps are reached?
