722 EQ - (No Baddies) - Looking For Citi Personal/Business Card

Hey,

Actually, when 2 balances update on the 20th, it'll be 740+. Thing is, I have 4 new accounts with 3 month history. 

Would I get flat out denied due to the 3 month history of 4 accounts? Inq's and util will be low but I worry about the new accounts. MUST I wait 3 more months to qualify?

I don't NEED high limits. I just want one good citi Diamond card and one citi business card (they pull EQ here in NYC). Would you say I have a good shot?

i dont know if you would get denied but if at all possible wait 3 months more until all cards over 6 months

For comparison, I got an $11K access line on Citi Platinum Amex with EQ around 705 (I'm also in NYC), zero inqs, AAoA around two years, ten accounts under twelve months, and two accounts under three months.

I think you'd be OK.  As long as your EQ is fairly clean, they're not usually too worried about a few young accounts.

Thanks, guys. Since I don't have 1+ year history with major banks (1+ with first premier, 6+ with Orchard and 8+ year old car loan alnog with 4 other positive new accounts), I figure a business card is out of the question since my biz file is not established.

Well, I must start somewhere. I'll consider getting AA and transfering it or the cash returns. Afraid that citi amex is still out of my reach unless they give a $1k limit or less. Too chicken

I applied thre days ago for a Citi Plat Amex - declined because of

1. insufficiant credit history (17 months) and
2. too many inquiries (4 in two years)

They pulled from Experian.

Faxed them a Recon this morning - we'll see.
