Do the AAA cards vary by location? I'm in Georgia and the only card I see available is the Cashback Visa Signature card with US Bank. I don't see the Travel Advantage card at all.

That is what I have concluded. I think I read that the T.A. card is available primarily in the NorthEast.

Yes...the various regional AAAs operate independently under the AAA umbrella. Some offer the AAA card by a Comenity and some offer the AAA card throgjh USBank.

Yes it does seem to vary by region.
But it could also be that you're logging in to the wrong region's website.
So first be sure you know which region your membership is in. Then log in to their website. And then proceed from there.

It isn't hard to connect to any given regional site if you know an appropriate zip code and its correct state, but logins aren't federated across regions. As an example I can log onto the Northeast site but not the Auto Club Group (southeastern US) site.

Of course it's not hard. But if you are searching for the credit cards, before entering the correct regional site, it's more likely than not you'll wind up on the wrong regional site for you, and then you might get the sense that you're ineligible for a card for which you are in fact eligible.

That's the problem. I went to the site for the Comenity card but was told to put in my zip code. I didn't know it was regional so I entered my real zip code and it took me to the US Bank one. If I use a different zip code would I be able to apply for the other card?

1. First step: forget about the credit cards. Just try to find out what AAA region you're in, and then go to its regional site. You can find out here: https://www.aaa.com/stop/
And it will take you to the correct site.
2. Second step: once you're on your correct AAA regional site, then > Loans & Banking > Other Products > AAA Visa Signature Credit Cards ... or there might be a different but similar setup... or you could just do a search for "credit cards"
Then you'll find out which of the credit cards are available in your region.

I did it both ways and that's how I know the US Bank one is in my region but I don't want that one. I like the SUB and rewards from the other one more.

OK. Sorry.
I don't even know how to find out what that US Bank card is like. Every link I try forces me back to my own region and my own choice of cards ![]()
Update: OK yeah I think I found a description of it here:

Yeah I don't think that card would work for me either. It doesn't have the
5% on gas; gives only 2% on gas and groceries, and no bonus points for dining. Has the same
3% on travel and AAA purchases. (Who cares about 3% on AAA purchases? I think I spend around
$100 year on AAA.) And it sounds like there isn't even any cash redemption for the rewards points.
Yuk.
