AAA rewards signature VISA

Hello all, here goes...

I've just recently, in the last month or so, begun trying to rebuild w/CCs and caring about scores. I've had small personal/holiday loans from my CU, and last year I financed my new car thru my CU. Well, last month I applied for a Zync and was denied. Called to recon and was told to try back in a few months, but work on some baddies on EX and on getting my scores up. I stopped messing around and went straight for a BofA secured, which I was approved for and have had for one month.

I've gotten to work on EQ, having a baddie that wasn't mine removed, and EQ is clean now. TU also has that same baddie, so I will have to get that removed. EX and TU also share two baddies that will fall off Jan 2012 and April 2013. I plan to try and PFD both to get them out sooner. I've just applied for a PSECU checking account to help with my EX score watch and will plan on how to attack TU.

That brings us to today. I get home from work and I see something I haven't seen for a bit. In the mail, I have an invitation to AAA rewards Signature Visa, offered by FIA, the same company I got my secured card from. Its got an invitation code and is calling my name. Has less than a month with my secured and my EQ cleansing helped me that much or is it something else that may have triggered this invite?

On my EX, I have a hard IQ from Amex, BofA, and now PSECU, so I don't want another if I don't have a good shot at getting this card. This board gives great advice, I'd like to hear thoughts. Thanks in advance.

What's kinda nice about it is no AF and 0% APR on purchases for 1 year. What do you think??

Re: AAA rewards signature VISA

Well, I applied and was turned down. I probably shouldn't have applied so soon, but oh well. I will not apply anymore for a while, and at least most of my recent inquiries will fall off at the same time. Will just have to water and nurture my secured card.

Arrrrgh, back door was denied, although the lady seemed very nice. She cited short credit history. No more apps for a few months for me! Time to get to work on EX and TU.
