Got my AARP CC from Chase today. It has a space for an AARP number on the botton, but it is blank.
I'm assuming this is because I'm not old enough (41). I was looking forward to being retired...
Not to worry. In another few years, around your 49th birthday or so, you'll start getting buried in AARP junk mail.
You can sign up now for AARP if you wish. I did at age 29 to save on my ADT alarm subscription. $16 a year to be an associate member.
Also a 15% discount at Denny's for those late night cravings.

I can save on my ADT bill?!?!
Yup! You would need to call ADT with your AARP number.
When you applied there was a place for you to put your number. I put mine so it is a part of my profile. I think I am going to love this card! Congrats to you!
when I applied for this card, I provided my AARP member number (tho I'm not anywhere remotely close to the age requirement). Havent yet received it but I'll be glad to see the number listed on the card.
