AMERICAN EXPRESS CHARGE CARD

   Hi, does anyone have an american express charge card reporting on their EQ credit report directly from EQ site, reporting on the account section as a credit card instead of a charge card.  My new charge card started reporting a couple of days ago stating a credit card, i would think it would have stated charge card thank you for any information.

What does your myFICO report state under Type?

Hi, i just pulled my fico eq report on my american express account it states under account type open and under description it states credit card, is this accurate as it is a charge card.  thanks

That is not correct. On your EQ report, account type should state "open account", not CC.

Hi fused do you have a charge card and does it state in the comment section credit card on the fico eq report.

Account type: Revolving -> AMEX credit cards (Blue, Clear, etc)

Account type: Open Account -> AMEX charge cards.(Green, Gold, Platinum)

If they report like that they are reporting correctly

Yes, I have an Amex Plat and it reports under account type as "open account". This is the way all Amex charge cards are suppose to report.
