AMEX 3X CLI

Should I pay off all credit cards before applying for the AMEX 3X CLI?  I was thinking of staying at approximately 1% utilization.

What other factors should I be worried about? Annual salary only $52K.

when i recent;y did my 3x cli i had 3% overall util and had my discover reporting 29% and it went thru fine

Thanks what is the CL on your card and did you get the full X3 Limit increase?

I am worried about this I hope I can atleast double it.

Your CL are an lot higher so i don't know if you will be able to get full 3x cli or not. I went from 3k to 9k . Good luck nonetheless
