Just a quick question that I need some advice on. I have two AMEX cards (Delta & BCE) that I had gotten 5 days apart. My question is should I request the CLI on one or both of the cards? I would hate to request one and get denied for the other. Thoughts?
AFAIK you can request one and then won't be eligible for an increase on either for 6 months. Someone who has had multiple cards at once might be able to give you a more solid answer though.
I';d just ask for the CLI on one of the cards, not both. Don't rock the boat with Amex and they will treat you well
Definitely read the 3X CLI thread. It addresses the time between CLI requests.

We need a lot more info from you as this isn't a one-size-fits-all matter. Which card it more useful to you? What are your priorities? If you're looking to get the highest CL's then it would make more sense to do the 3X CLI on the card with the higher CL, for example. If one card is more useful to you and that's a priority then it might make more sense to request the 3X CLI on that card.

You can only receive one CLI per account holder -not per cc. Choose whichever card you use the most IMO - once approved you will be Ineligible for a CLI for any cc for 180 days.
+1 CLI timelines are per account and not per card. Hence once you request a 61 3x on one card pass or fail you will be denied for the second one. I was in your same situation, I got them 20 days apart, and decided the BCE would be more useful for me so I requested that.

Thanks Lexie, that is the answer I was looking for!
