AMEX BLUE

Well gee, I just got this card and having read all the posts on here I decided to closely read all that fine print.

Says right in it that they have the right to suspend or cancel with or without cause, and without giving you notice.

I had also gotten an extra card for DH, just for giggles and no other reason.

Now I'm reading this:

An additional cardmember is not liable for charges incurred by the basic cardmember.

HOWEVER, by each use of the additional card to incur charges, the additional cardmember indicates his or her agreement to pay us for the charge if you fail or refuse to pay it.

It looks as if I will probably leave home without them Smiley Very Happy

Re: AMEX BLUE

Do you plan on not paying them? As long as you plan on paying them, I don't see the problem with that part of the small print.

I always pay my bills.  That's not exactly what got me.  For the people who are AU's on the accounts whether related or not that could be a problem if someone didn't pay.

To tell you the truth I object to the suspension or cancellation without just cause and without notifying me. I don't want to be out and use that card and have it declined because of a whim on their part.
