The above is not correct. They never forget, but they do forgive. I burned them in a BK in 1982, and got back in with them early this year.

Congrats on getting back. But, 33 years later ????? I will be lucky to be alive after that much time. I did take the rep's NEVER comment with a grain of salt. But for practical purposes, anything over 15 years is pretty much a credit card life sentence in my opinion. Personally, I think their extended blacklisting policy may be a bad business decision in many cases, particularly for high income candidates.
Truth be told, I had never tried until early this year. I had always assumed that I'd be dead to them for all time. Then I started reading this forum and discovered that others had gotten back in, so I gave it a shot.
