Once your in good with Amex, if your debt stays low and you pay in full your amex cards and your score stays up high, they love to give you more cards and with adding more cards you can avoid the 25k ceiling that seems to exist on credit cards without income verification at least in my experience with managing my fathers accounts.

Optima was at 25k and asked for CLI and it was denied, applied for (I think at the time it was IN Chicago card (approved 10k)

Congratulations! What are your credit limits on the Blue and the Hilton credit cards? What were your credit scores when you applied?

My credit amount with both cards are $2000 each. I have not put my credit score lately.

I wouldn't close the other cards you have if I was you.  What if AMEX decides  to FR you and close all of your accounts.  Having all eggs in one basket is dangerous.  Happy Easter!

AMEX cards are not the only credit cards I have. I have Chase CC and I also have my Credit Union card. The cards that I want to close have AF and I do not what to keep paying those fees if I am going to keep the prime cards from AMEX. Thanks for the advice.
