So back in my teen years I burned AMEX. I have joined a new company that requires for me to get the AMEX Corporate card. Will I still get approved even though the company is backing me up?
You'll have to enter your SSN to apply.
Find a card you'd like if you're approved and apply. If you are instantly denied, you may well be blacklisted.
If that is the case, I do not believe you'll be able to get a corporate card.
I have a corporate card though I cannot get a personal AMEX due to past experience with them. The corporate card has a spending limit on it, other than that I had no issues getting it.
Amex dosen't hp for corporate cards, nor will the card report on your personal credit report. I know this for sure since I just got a corporate green card through my employer a few months ago.
If you are blacklisted, you might be instantly denied, however. Unfortunately, the only way to confirm whether or not you are blacklisted is to apply.
I'm not even 100% sure how thoroughly they run the application through their databases though. Case in point- I have a member since date of 2011 and the corp card they sent me says member since 2013.
You shouldn't have no problem as it's backed by the corp....

I don't think it's a problem... Essentially your just an authorized buyer? Why would that be a problem? Your not responsible for payment the company is. It's like someone adding you on as an Additional Card Member..
Well I thought since they wanted my ss# they would do a hp on my credit report and deny me since I burned them a few years ago. But it seems they dont pull your credit report at all.
