Eh, if you fly Delta often, then it can have it's benefits.

I used to have this card, but it didn't like how Delta's fares are so high. I fly American normally and it's much cheaper.
But if you like Delta, then it's a good choice. If not, then I'd pass.

Re: AMEX Delta Gold

you have the AA card I assume then?  I just dont really have a preference since I just obviously want cheapest flights, but some cards have perks.  Ultimately Id love to get CSP

I guess it depends on how you look at it. and if you know the secrets to Delta. I have it with a 20k limit. However using the miles are fairly easy.

Delta does not make it easy. So i booked a trip from Tampa to New york last week for the first week of june. If i book the round trip its 35k miles plus $11.20.

But if i book each trip one way its only 10k miles each way. plus $5.60 so its sweet in my opinion. Well worth the $95 AF as i will save the $25 fee from checked bags. But i need to work it together with my PRG to get the Airline incidentals for $100 each year as well. So in combination its a good card. Im leaving in 6 weeks. Asia bound so im loving it now. No way can i close it just off the limit alone.
