So, I got the AMEX Delta Platinum 11/29/24. The offer when I applied was 60K miles after 3K spend in 6 mo, and when I saw shortly later the 90K offer (4k spend in 6 mo), I was a bit sad, but hey 60K is still better than nothing.
I just reached over the 3K on 2/14, with total spend of $3940 at that point. I checked my Delta account, and lo and behold, I actually got 90K miles added as of yesterday! I have no idea why, but will take it! Hoping they don't "correct" this later. While I haven't quite made the 4K spend of the newer offer, I will be having a week long hotel stay next month that will be applied (I booked with this card), so will still hit that within the timeframe.
Anyone else get a higher SUB than what was stated at approval with AMEX?
very lucky, congrats!!
Not AmEx but, very recently, I had two lucky scores. One was my new NFCU Flagship which I was going to get anyway but it had a $300 ( think it was) bonus just for becoming a member and opening a card that was going on that I didn't know about. It wasn't currently advertised! And that was on top of the advertised regular spend $400 bonus. I didn't even know about it until someone here posted that they received a surprise $300 and then someone else posted an archive link to the offer which was not currently on NFCU's site. Score.
The other was my new USB Smartly checking account (I know, not a credit card but I only opened it because I was getting the Smartly card). I later realized I made a big mistake by not using the appropriate link to open the checking account which the footnotes state is required for eligibility for the offer. I think the offer was 2 direct deposits totalling $4k for $400. I went ahead and pushed the money from other institutions with my fingers crossed and - yup - free $400.
Oh, maybe a 3rd but not really a bonus, more like an offer, I recently received 250,000 points (~$250) on my SYW card that I have no idea how I earned them. I did not have any current offer offering 250k points.
Sweet. Congrats on your bonus !
Nice surprise, enjoy it, and congratulations!
Thanks all!

Oh, you have been a lucky duck, congrats! Very nice to get extra bonuses and sounds like not taken back either . I don't usually get nice "oopsies" so am happy to be on the recieving end this time, lol.
I applied for my Amex Gold Delta around the same time, I was wondering if I would get the higher sub. Gold was 50k for 2k spend in 6mos. Hitting it this statement. Hopefully I'll get the higher sub. Congrats btw!
I don't think it's unusual for Amex to have occasional coding snafus. For several months until the offer expired I used BCE to pay cellphone bill and received cashback intended for internet services. Right now I'm receiving two different cashback offers for monthly payment via BCE on a certain bill.
