The 'from' account has to be open 13 billing cycles. The "to" account has to be open +60 days

But increasingly it seems that Amex is much more flexible on the "to" side, many doing it on the day they receive the card

Interesting.. do most people request a 61 day CLI on the To: card before transferring limits? Though depending on what AmEx gives me for CLI, I will probably not request over 24k total since I don't want to deal with FR.

Not an FR, just a 4506T. And, as many have said, the > $25K rule doesn't seem to apply a whole lot.
Since I (and others) transferred CL the day we got the card, a 61 day CLI doesn't come in to it.
@Anonymous wrote:I applied for the Everyday Preferred last night and was instantly approved with a $4,400 CL. My EQ FICO from myfico is 677. Credit Karma says 697, and the TU FICO provided to me by Barclaycard is 730, so there is quite a bit of discrepancy there.
I was pleasantly surprised i got approved because i had just opened two other cards in the past two months (Chase Freedom and Barclaycard Arrival). I also had applied for Amex Blue Sky back in September and had been denied. Seems like everything is okay now!
One annoying thing is that Amex does not tell you your CL or APR upon acceptance. You have to call them during business hours to see what you even got appoved for. Obviously a lot of us are also at work during business hours, so this can be a hassle.
Amex Everday Preferred $4.4k, Barclaycard Arrival $4k, Chase Freedom $3k, Chase Slate $1.8k, Capital One Quicksilver $1.3k, Kohl's $1k, Victoria's Secret $1.2k
hope you did the Amex 3x rule

So with cards you can't downgrade to non-AF versions like the SPG you end up having to pay the AF if you want to transfer the line over?
I was approved on Saturday with a $15k CL, but I have the 21.99% APR.

Could some folks post what their reports/info were when they appd for these cards? I just paid down a ton of utilization on my current cards and will be looking to app for an amex. Thanks!
