AMEX Offers and Authorized Users

Hello,

I have my wife as an authorized user, so she obviously has her own card for each of my AMEX cards. She doesn't have a registered account online, I handle all the finances and online accounts. My question is when I add an offer to one of the cards does it also add that offer to her card as well or is it only added to mine?

Any knowledge on this would be appreciated.

Yes, it would include all authorized user cards as well, unless otherwise noted

Great, thank you! I recently added the Gold card to the collection and want to ensure all transactions are getting the proper bonus points and/or cash back.

An interesting point worth noting:  if you have multiple card cards, say a Platinum Card and a Delta Reserve Card, they often have different promotional offers such as, for example, receive $250 for spending $1000 at a specific hotel chain. Yet sometimes multiple accounts will both show the same offer.  If the latter is the case and you select the offer for one account, it will then disappear as a choice from the other accounts.  Thus, I sometimes pre screen the offers on all my accounts and decide which card account I wish to use an offer if it shows up on multiple accounts as a selection to choose from.

Yeah, I've noticed this as well. Sometimes the offer still appears but when you try to add it a message states it's already on another card. It wasn't that big of a deal previously as I only had the BCE and the BCP but now adding the Gold in, I'm looking at every offer on every card before I add anything.
