AMEX PRG unceremoniously welcomes AU

I have been adding my year old son to my credit cards for the past 6 months. He'll be 18 in January. I finally decided to add him to my PRG account, remembering my welcome packet for the shiny gold card. Instead he received just a one page Amex letter with ' Make the most out of your Membership', not even a Welcome to Amex... I glad he has the card, but just felt lack luster.

IIRC, I believe that's pretty typical of most AU cards,including AmEx.

Even for my employees, there wasn't anything special that I recall. After all, they didn't really care about the welcome letter, they simply wanted to start using the card(s).
